Okay so can I have some questions to ask those of you that read the books about Gollum. In the movies he is all about the precious, at one point he semi turns good until the hobbits are captured and he feels they trick him into being captured as well. At that point he goes back to being his normal split personality self. Is this the same in the books? Can we assume that because Frodes/Sam found him so fast that they are safe?

well maybe not, now that I reread mopap's deal maybe Gollum has to contact him? Either way Gollum knows he is not a member of sam/frodo so hopefully he seeks mopap out.

gollum has to be getting views each night in an attempt to find shelob/mopap. we have no way of communicating with gollum.
